About the Cootamundra Council

"To Provide Leadership and Quality Services and to Promote Sustainable Growth." Cootamundra Shire Council is a general purpose local government authority, which provides a range of services to its community.

The Council was formed in 1975 upon the amalgamation of the former Cootamundra Municipal Council with the Jindalee Shire Council.

Council produces an Annual Management Plan which sets out the direction of its activities for the relevant year.
